PC gamers, get ready for a mod that will leave you speechless. DayZ is a Zombie mod for ArmA 2 that has enormous potential. Remember how Counter-Strike was revolutionary back in the Half-Life days? Well, DayZ is that good and offers a unique experience. Unlike all other Zombie games, this mod focuses on human interaction/emotion and survival. When you start off you have a pistol with a couple mags, some water and a can of beans.
The good mods are easy: Breaking Point, Zombies & Demons, Epoch and Exile. If you are really asking who is running a good server with these mods, well now, you are going to hear crickets. Far too many of the servers running these mods have gamebreaking issues, whether it's poor/corrupt administration or stupid additional mod requirements that. To install Zombies and Demons you should use modfolders to keep it seperate from the official game content to prevent issues. With Arma 3 you can use different ways to set up your modfolders to use custom content you have downloaded. You have no map/compass and have no idea where you are. And then the fun starts. The team behind it have released a new update for it and you can view its complete changelog below. DayZ’s scope and concept is unmatched. There are servers where players can login and start their adventures. There are bandits that will steal your equipment, and there are other survivors like yourself. However, those survivors may betray you in order to get your weapons or your bread.
Remember all those zombie movies where the protagonists could not trust anyone? Well, this is exactly what’s happening in DayZ.
Make no mistake, this is perhaps the Mod of the Year and you should definitely try it. In fact, you should buy ArmA 2 for this mod alone. It’s THAT good.

This mod basically adds them to the game, and makes things a little bit more interesting for people who want more of a zombie experience, rather than a military game. Your goal is to gather resources, find other survivors, and protect yourself from other hostile players or zombies.
HMCS addonThis adds a giant robot from the gungriffon series. It basically looks like a huge walker from Star Wars that you can pilot and shoot things with. Want to check this out? Faces of warFaces of war brings World War 2 to ARMA 3. So, if you’re tired of the modern war stuff, try this mod, and you’ll get all the WW2 stuff you could ever desire. Specialist military armsSMA brings a ton of new, cool weapons into ARMA 3. All the weapons are based off real life guns that are currently used by militaries all around the globe today.
CUP vehiclesIf you want more tanks, jets, helicopters, etc. To play around with, this is the mod for you. This brings all the content from the previous ARMA games into ARMA 3.
CUP weaponsIf you want even more weapons in ARMA 3, this mod will provide you with that. This mod has got stuff like AK47’s, M4’s and so on! CUP terrains/mapsThis is a mod that adds more maps to the game which are from previous ARMA series games.
